As a doctor, I feel responsible to give the best treatment for persons with disabilities so they can be cured sooner, then they can be back to school, to work or to run business. But I am wrong, the disease that make people disabled is really not only medical business but it is also social business.
This training helped me have a better understanding on disability.
I can’t wait to share this new knowledge to my friends. I’m also interested to take part in activities that is related to persons with disabilities.

I learned from CRPD training that people with\ disabilities are part of human diversity.

This training really helpful to open up my mind to develop my sensitization to them.

It was amazing, the trainer who are a person with visual disability and a person with hearing disability facilitated the training that
made me learn from them to be more friendly for all.

When Mimi Institute staff came to our office to socialise the CRPD training, spontaneus  we thought that the training is not important
for our service at Wijaya Kusuma village
.

The explanation from Mimi Institute convinced us, and by June 10 2011, village staff and community members participated in CRPD training.
It was really an useful training.

We  got new knowledge and change our mind set becoming more possitive by providing friendly accessibility when we interact with our community who are disabled. Furthermore, from this training we learn to develop our community service more inclusive and flexible to accomodate people rights

We thought that persons with disabilities are sick people who need medical treatment.
Then we found out that they are just like us. The only difference is the function of some organs. They can do daily activities just like us. From this training we realized that God creates every one of us differently with their own uniqueness.
